History is the biography of mankind. It is never complete, and will continue to be updated as tomorrows continue to vanish into yesterdays . And these yesterdays continue to influence and shape the tomorrows of mankind.
History is the echo of past in the future. History is the reflex of future acted upon the past.
So it is very important that this biography of mankind called the History be written accurately, as it is, without any motives, so that we can derive accurate interpretations, and arm ourselves with the knowledge of the past, so that we do not repeat the mistakes of the past.
What a nation becomes depends on what its people think today and what they have planned for the future and this in turn depends on how much the people of the nation know about their past.
Unfortunately, the history of India has been massively distorted by the political motivations of the colonial period and the pre colonial period. We have been taught to believe what is not. What we read as history today was written in the form of a fiction to suite the political ambitions of the British and today, post-independence, most of the Indian Historians refer to these distorted versions of History and the same is being imposed upon us.
In other words, a large part of what we read as History today is distorted by
- Branding ancient Historical texts of India as Myth
- Massively postponing the dates of ancient Indian historical events
- Writing off events and persons in history that do not fit into the colonial version
- Investing heavily into teaching Imaginary Fiction as History to the students
- Distorting facts in such a way so as to make Indians feel ashamed of their otherwise truly glorious past
- Introducing meaningless theories with no historical/archaeological evidences, to create confusion or to convince people into believing the twisted truth
- Ignoring archaeological/linguistic/texts that do not fit into the distorted version
- Geo political and religious motivations
- Misinterpretation/Interpolation of ancient Indian sanskrit texts in such a way to make the Indians feel embarrassed and inferior about their past culture and spiritual/religious scriptures.
- Attempts to carefully eliminate all evidences that would point towards the real history.
- Introducing the communal tag, when somebody tries to have a fresh look into the facts.
- Discouraging any kind of scientific research or archaeological excavations that have the ability to show the true history and disprove the current versions.
- Re-dating and re-writing events so as to fit into the biblical version of the creation of world and to be in sycn with the events of Christianity
And all this simply means, brainwashing the future generations into believing things that were never there, and there by establishing a psychological supremacy, which then can be used to gain all other kinds of supremacy.
And why was all this done? Because those who control the present will control the future, and those who control the past can control the present! So to control the future, the colonial rulers of India wanted to control the past history of mankind!
The Myth of Aryan Invasion Theory is a classic case study of this attempt. The Britishers wanted to rule India smoothly without any opposition from the Indians, and for this they had to prove that they had the right to rule India, for which they needed evidences supporting their right to rule India.
So, to rule India in the future, they had to control the present outrage of freedom struggle, and to control the freedom struggle they had to control the past History of India. Thats when they introduced the Aryan Invasion Theory which said that Indians originally migrated from Europe to India in the distant past!! So the theory said that the modern Indians were direct descendants of the ancient Europeans! And hence the Britishers had all the rights on earth to rule the Indians!
They further upgraded this theory later by introducing an Aryan-Dravidian divide, saying that the Dravidians were the original inhabitants of North India who were attacked and moved down south by the invading Aryans!
Macaulay offered enormous amount of money to Max Muller to translate the Rig Veda and other ancient Indian texts with a vision of distorting its meaning and its time period so as to fit into the colonial/evangelical wishes. Macaulay also got the British government sanction money to introduce English education in India so as to enable the British to educate the future Indian generations with their own version of History and truth!
This distorted version of History is very well explained by an African proverb which says
Until the lion has a historian of his own, the tale of the hunt will always glorify the hunter!
Unfortunately, even six decades after the Britishers left, we are still playing into their hands, and any attempt to correct the history is being branded communal by the so called secular / intellectuals in the country.
History as we are taught today does not really date back more than five or six centuries before Christ. There are intermediate known history like that of the Egyptians, with large unexplained gaps in between!
But when we have a fresh look at History it becomes very clear that, History of India is the History of the world ! And what is this History? The one which most of us have absolutely no idea about!!
There were many facts which I had looked into, read about, read again and again with multiple authors/views, with evidences in the form of archaeological, textual, biographical, in the form of mismatching chronological sequences in the current version of history, etc. And all this would lead one to easily conclude that what we read as History is a massively distorted version of the true history of mankind.
This distortion of History is so huge that it cannot be covered in one single blog article. Hence I will be writing a series of articles on this subject titled as History Demystified
I am not writing this series with a great sense of happiness, for I am sad and irritated that the fellow humans have distorted the true history of mankind to such a great extent with an intention of destruction and misinformation. For this distortion of history is, NOT due to any human errors while trying to reason with logic, but because of intentional amendment of the truth and distortion of facts while being completely aware of its implications.
As I keep saying, I will have no answers if an alien attack takes place on earth and asks me to give reasons why not to destroy mankind, while you people yourselves are engaged in activities trying to destroy each other?
Yet, I consider that we are lucky enough and hence should be happy, because the distorted history has failed to support itself forever and with new evidences being unearthed as every day is passing by, with old evidences resurfacing again with a greater clarity, the truth is finally revealing itself.
As an ancient Indian vedic quote goes Satyameva Jayate – Truth alone Triumphs
What Max Muller, Macaulay, etc forgot is that:
We can fool some people all the time
We can also fool all the people for some time
But we cannot fool all the people all the time
Before I start the next article on this series I strongly recommend that you read the following earlier posts, so that it will be more easy to understand when I refer to things that have already been spoken about in this blog.
- Myth of the Aryan Invasion Theory
- Myth about the British creating India
- The revelation of Saraswati River
- Caste System is not Vedic
- Astronomical Dating of the Vedas
By the way, what motivated me to write this series is a great historical research book called The Origin of Human Past – Children of Immortal Bliss , gifted to me by one of the blog readers! Thanks a lot to that reader, and I strongly recommend this book to all those interested in understanding the true human history. Read it and decide for yourself

Its not necessary that every person should agree with our thoughts/views.. Infact life would be very boring without any stimulating discussions and disagreements.. so as long as people dont get personal while debating, its really great if they disagree, as that would allow us to think and look from multiple angles which we might not have thought about earlier..
On the other hand it is also not necessary that we are always correct.. what I think to be making sense today or a fact today, might be proved wrong tomorrow.. and all our efforts should be to make sure that we arrive at the truth, and not at making our points win…
So I simply keep putting forward my views.. and thats not the end, its just the beginning.. as people come and give their views, the scope widens, the input increases and will help all those who think reasonably and in an unbiased manner to conclude or atleast to make an attempt to conclude..
In the end the process will benefit all of us.. if we are right, the discussion only strengthens our argument more.. and if we are open enough to see that we might be wrong too.. then probably some of us might change our views too…
btw, Thanks for your wishes
Suchin,
Thanks for liking this blog, I couldnt resist being in this world
Ruchi,
I completely agree with you that we should learn from the mistakes of our past.. both the recent past as well as the distant past.. only then can we try to make sure that we dont repeat the same mistakes in the future..
History is not only about past achievements.. its about past successes, past failures, past achievements, past mistakes, past tragedy, past glory, its about everything that has “”really”" happened in our timeline

Being biased on either side won’t land you to the reality. My only point is that we should understand the weaknesses we had as a country; simply ignoring the facts is not resolution to any problem but will create another chaos for future generations.
I wish we have some true secular Indians, which is quite an impossible in diverse Country like ours.
Gurudev, I liked your blogs because you think rationally, and try to bring the facts which get ignored by the continuous devastation of Indian history, but people should understand that this doesn’t implies that we never did any thing wrong, I think we should widen our thinking.
.
Please refrain from concluding if person is having different views, is either ashamed of being an Indian, or deeply influenced by western culture.
Anyways I just don’t want to create a topic for yet another discussion so will stop here

Mr. Gurudev
Excellent work! Good research and analysis. I am sure there will be a lot of people criticizing your work as well, and most of them will be the secular Indians. Do not worry about them.
The problem with a lot of these Indians is their inferiority complex in terms of west and the inability to come out of the so called western intellectual thought. These people who do not question anything about the research works which claim to have found the city of troy or the land of atlantis, jump their guns when you talk about the birth date of rama or the ancient nuclear weapons!
So my suggestion is dont even try to convince or argue with such people. Its a sheer waste of time. Let them live in their secular intellectual knowledge domain. These are those same people who when see an action scene by a hero in an Indian movie call it an impractical crap, and give loads of claps and appreciation for the same scene in a hollywood movie! Stupid hypocrites. So dont argue with fools, else people will not know the difference
Your research should be aimed at enlightening those few people who are willing to free themselves from the western intellectualism, and believe me, most of these people will be the westerners themselves. Indians are all set to become the new westerners, when true intellectuals in the west are looking east and at India.
May the universal powers bless you
Mandar

Hey nice initiative … but
I think we should accept our shortcomings rather then blaming Moguls or British, and being unbiased.
can anyone kindly explain, What were we doing when Ghaznavi looted us… what we did to stop Ghori, were busy in conspiring against the most eligible king of that time?
Who is powerful will rule, this is what history teaches us, this is what Moguls and British did.
British, big irony is we are dependent on their mother tongue to share our views
… We were not even capable to keep hold on one language of ours which can bind us, and are still in the process of proving which of one is superior
…
I am pissed off with same justifications again and again, blaming others for our weaknesses, and every time try to justify that we were always right.
Have we ever thought why were we not able to defend ourselves? (cummon’!! at least not because of Buddhism please)
Please refrain from defending our shortcomings, rather face it, and try to bring the ruined facts of our glorious past, history which is hacked by foreign invasions.

Very good posting. It all happened because of Industrial revolution : discoveries of steam Engines.I think we should refer them as whites collectively rather than as Britishers.Whites was having a greatest time due to rail technology and machines etc. Our President of India lives in that building which are designed by French Architect. We can also find many seafarers like arabs in Kerala ,Portuguese in Goa, Dutch , French in Pondicherry and Tamil Nadu and English or britishers of East India Company in west Bengal or Bangladesh along the coastal areas .We all have to remember that India was it lowest ebb in military strength due to upsurge of Buddhism. Muslims particularly Moghuls demonic form of Ravana ruled at the time of British colonists. Before Buddhism , India or Bharateeya fame was incalculable around the world. These facts can be proved by many clues found scattered around the global history. Please remember that Moghul’s rule nearly over 1000 years was the worst history than a mere 100 years of
British rule. Britishers were half industrial revolutionised and half colonisers. Bharateeya was nearly ruined by muslim barbarian rule.Any way Whites was having superiority complex over their skin color .But they were surprised over the intelligence of Dravidian people who are generally dark.Thank God , southern architecture are safely guarded from false information but Sri Rama sethu Samuthram!!. Lord Buddha was born to create Peace ,peace peace for the warriors , colonists in particular. No bloodshed forever. But It is still an impossible evadable eg.. Iraqi attack by American soldiers in 2007.Best part of history that I likes the most is Christoper columbus thought America was India .that means India ‘s fame reached farthest in European continent . (Via Alexander the great)
Before I stop writing, I would like to give one more point.
hope all remember Ramar Pillai a school dropout gave a world most conscious idea Herbal petrol/gas or unleaded petrol/gas. It may be irrelevant to write here. You must know that this attempt by Ramar pillai was jealously written by a white christian A philosopher stone .Original idea was conceived by him which was further developed by white scientists. It is a matter of fact.
