Hi every one
just want to say if this project leeds to distroy the setu ,then its a sin not becose of its mythological significant but becoz its an national heritage .
I completly agree with gurudev abt the water pollutin aspect why cant we leave somthing as natural as mother nature has made it

Though they have 05 other option and if they are adament to go for this project and they are choosing the 6th option which destroys the RAMSETU – this clearly shows that they are delibratetly targeting the Ramsetu to hurt Hindu sentiments….This is high time Hindus must wake up from their slumber otherwise doom is looming large on the community both from outside and inside – ??

Yes Jayraman
Irrespective of which option they follow to build the sethusamudram canal
*the destruction of marine ecology in the sea
*the negative effect on the local fishermen
*the increased vulnerability of the coasts of Kerala to the tsunamis from the eastern seas….
* the possible loss of Thorium in the shores of Kerala

Any practical minded person will not go ahead with this project.

Looks that this is done to (a) destroy the Hindu icon and (b) to earn more commission for the DMK goondas and its minister as the total project size will be more.

It is also now well known that this project’s benefits are vastly over-rated and bogus. It appears that this project is destined to be a white elephant considering the HUGE dreging and maintenance charges it needs to incur annually.

Also, Already there are clear signs of the enviornmental degradation with the complete loss of fishing in the whole area. This project will also destroy the most precious ecological marine culture system in the country
