These were the exact words used by Mr N R Narayan Murthy when asked about why the singing of Indian national anthem at a recent function held by his company Infosys at Mysore was cancelled and instead a prerecorded electronic version of the national anthem that sounded more like a cheap non-polyphonic cellphone ringtone was played!!!
This was inspite of the fact that our honourable President Dr A P J Abdul Kalam was present at that function and he insisted on singing the national anthem himself!!!!!
Now for those who want Mr N R N to be the next president of this country, I have a simple question to ask:
What if tomorrow Mr N R N becomes the president of India and then the queen of England visits Delhi on our Republic day and gets embarrassed if we sing our national anthem at the red fort ??
