Benjamin
Sorry, you were right about 'harmless', I should have written it as 'nothing harmful', realised it later after re-reading the article again and again following another appeal. My brain was all the time thinking that what is there is what I meant and so was skipping the context, only realized after careful splitting and dissection :)

I have corrected the article by changing 'nothing harmless' to 'nothing harmful' and it perfect now!
Thanks again for the observation. At the same time, also changed 'innocent' to 'unsuspecting' :)
Your comments gave the logical completion to the article.

Cheers

Thanks for the comments Benjamin.
Yes the links I provided are spicy, bcos thats how real facts are
Yes, will do some more research about the placenta meals, but I know that many animals have these habits of eating placenta, but unlike in the chinese case where it is used to ‘boost’(?) fertility, in animals the mother eats placenta post delivery, to feed her body with nutrients which all these days had been reserved for her child.

No, I did mean ‘harmless’, and that was in the sense that these Chinese made pain killers and aspirin were not some alternate harmful chemicals but were consumable stuff without ‘any’ medicinal value in it! It was like eating a chocolate thinking it to be a pain killer, (though I dont know whether it tasted sweet!), so neither did it kill the pain, nor did it do some other harm!

But yes, if it were some serious medicine like say antibiotics or say anti-histamine tablets whose intake was necessary for the body to recover, then it would have been harmful even though the fake medicine did not harm on its own. Because, in serious ailments, not taking a medicine on time is also harmful!

Yes, I could have definitely substituted ‘unsuspecting’ for ‘innocent’

Thanks for the interesting and entertaining article Gurudev. You also add spice with some links that I will certainly explore later. There were however some points where I thought more (or clearer) attribution of sources could be helful, such as e.g. the placenta meals (which if you'd find some more references, should trigger a scandal at great scale).
Lastly, wording. You say ""harmless"" where you likely mean ""harmful"" and maybe I thought you could substitute ""innocent"" for ""unsuspecting"" or something more telling.
