Keshava Temple at Somanathpura, Mysore

Somanathapura is a town in Mysore district, Karnataka, India. The Chennakeshava Temple here was built by Somanatha, a high officer under Hoysala King Narasimha III who ruled between 1254 CE to 1291 CE. It is a splendid example of the Hoysala Style of Architecture. It is a three celled Trikuta Structure consisting of three Garbhagrahas (Sanctum Sanctorum), three Antaralas and one Navarang. It has a Mahadwara (Grand Entrance) on the East.
