DOB can still be ambiguous because no one knows till a person has lived his/her life, that s/he is going to be that famous a person to be remembered. What is baffling is that even the date of death (I, as a scientific person would call it death. The story of resurrection is definitely a hoax) is undocumented else they would have remembered the date and not Good Friday.
This is interesting. Mithra – Varuna appears to be same as Ahura – Mazda of the Zorastrian belief:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ahura_Mazda
What is strange is – such an important entity for a particular religious belief, the technology of documentation (printing) available, the gospel texts (original are still available) and yet no one documented Jesus Christ’s date of birth till almost 350 years?
You have ended the article with the date of his birth still a question-mark. My question is – If Jesus existed, how and why would his date of birth be so ambiguous for 350 years after his existence? Did he exist?
True Sachin, Zoroastrian culture had many things in common with Vedic culture.
Regarding the birth date of christ, it might never have been documented during the life time of Jesus, it is interesting to note that a larger part of the initial days of Jesus’s life like where he lived his childhood and what he did is still a matter of debate and speculations even today. You might have heard about the story of Jesus having studied Buddhism in Kashmir region during his early childhood.
Expect to rcv some very nice comments
